Volunteer Opportunities at the Portland Art Museum



The Discovery Center is a family-friendly space in the Museum where visitors can learn more about art and artists in the Museum’s collections and exhibitions. Come browse books, computer programs, puzzles, discovery drawers, and hands-on activities.

Discovery Center Volunteers

work 2½ hour shifts

weekly or every other week.

Volunteers enjoy free access to the Museum and most NW Film Center screenings, plus Museum Shop discounts and other events.

Ms. Punska does a nice job of coordinating volunteers. Volunteers feel listened to and are helped to use their talents.
